My Top Shows of 2010
1. Porcupine Tree – Dec 11 2009 – O2 Academy
I have been a fan of these guys for quite some time…probably a good 5 years! In 2009 it was the first time PT showed their face in Canada in Toronto… but it was AFTER the 19th of September, which meant I would not see them since I was being shipped off to Glasgow. After I arrived in Glasgow I found out that they were going to be adding a show in Glasgow… hell yah! (photo by: Grant Wakefield)
Their stage presence is absolutely awesome. It was the best show I have seen in a very long time. They played the entire “The Incident” album and then followed up with a good hour and a half of earlier tunes. It was also their last show of that leg of the tour… so it was special for the band and equally as special for the audience. I stood 3 feet away from Steven Wilson the entire time. It was awesome!

After seeing their show at the Horseshoe, I quickly grabbed their latest album, No Nations (for a mere 10 bucks!) hoping that their killer live show could be re-produced on a cd…Well, it’s pretty damn close!
